PinTwist local catalog and CSV: keep Pinterest research on your machine
Every PinTwist sort can save to a local catalog on your device. Filter, re-sort, group by design, download images, and export CSV for your own AI or design workflow.
What the local catalog is
After you run sorts, Local catalog opens a view of everything already captured on your computer. Filter by the terms you searched, apply a seed-style filter across related runs (for example all “meme” terms), re-sort by repins, reactions, comments, or last activity, and control how many pins you see per page.
Group by design helps collapse same-image copies while you still care about per-copy metrics. Download pin images when you want a reference for redesign or AI-assisted exploration.
CSV export for analysis and AI
Export accumulated rows to CSV for your own analysis. Settings can auto-download a CSV after N pins so large research sessions do not depend on manual export each time.
A common workflow is: rank pins on Pinterest → catalog → CSV → hand the file to Claude, Codex, or your process for idea lists and design angles. The data only leaves your machine when you export or copy it yourself.

Privacy is the product constraint
There is no remote PinTwist backend for your catalog. Data lives in chrome.storage and local IndexedDB in your profile. That is why open source and local-first matter for sellers who do not want research corpora on someone else’s server.

Yes. Export is for your workflow. Many sellers feed research CSVs into their own AI stack for ideation. You control what you share.
Does PinTwist upload my catalog?
No. No telemetry, no backend, no account. Export and image download are user-initiated.
