When one term at a time is too slow
Manual research is: type a term, wait, sort, look, repeat. For a morning of niche exploration that is fine. For a list of seeds — memes, product types, holiday gifts, niche phrases — a queue is faster because you are not babysitting each term.
PinTwist’s automation panel lets you queue multiple searches and run them individually or as a full queue with intervals between pulls so you are less likely to get timed out.
What “paced” means
Pacing is intentional waiting. The queue takes longer than a hammered script because it respects that Pinterest can throttle aggressive automation. On rate limit or captcha, the right behavior is to pause and surface the problem — not to pretend the check is not there.
Use the queue when you want coverage across many seeds and can return later. Use single sort when you are deep in one term and iterating live.

Queued runs still feed the same local catalog and CSV path. The goal is a corpus of ranked research across terms, still on your device, ready for design work when you come back.

Does the queue bypass captchas?
No. It uses your logged-in session and pacing. If Pinterest challenges the session, you handle it; the tool does not circumvent checks.
Can I run the queue and leave?
Yes — that is the point of background collection. Expect waits between terms. Check the catalog and exports when you return.
Is automation required to use PinTwist?
No. Overlays, single-term multi-page sort, adjacent digs, and the catalog work without the queue. Automation is for multi-seed coverage.
