The problem with the default feed

When you search or open a board, Pinterest shows a stream. You can see some engagement cues on certain surfaces, but you cannot reliably answer: which of these pins has the most saves, repins, reactions, or comments, and which are still active?

Scrolling four or seven pages by hand does not fix ranking. You still cannot put 43k-save pins above the rest in one view. Research needs capture + sort, not more scroll.

How multi-page sort works in PinTwist

Set how deep to go (page count), choose a metric — saves, repins, reactions, comments, or last activity — and run Sort. PinTwist walks those pages, captures pins, and re-ranks the set. Sorting can run in the background while you use another screen.

Last activity surfaces recently engaged pins even when raw counts are mixed. Age on the overlay helps you avoid stale ideas that still show large lifetime numbers.

Open strong pins, read phrases with overlays hidden if needed, and dig adjacent suggestions for related ideas. Not every top pin is a product — filter noise, trademarks, and non-POD art — but the ranked list is where you start.

Every sort can feed the local catalog. Build a corpus of what you already ranked so the next session does not start from zero.
